Orlando, FL.- August 7th, 2000- The Magic Of Orlando Drum & Bugle Corps today announced the resignation of Director Ron Ellis. Mr. Ellis stated increasing time restraints as a result of a recent promotion within Disney Music, coupled with his existing duties as Assistant Director of Bands at the University Of Central Florida were among the reasons for his difficult decision. The Magic Board of Directors is now actively seeking a full-time replacement and hopes to make an announcement within the next few months.

Magic of Orlando is a not-for-profit educational arts program dedicated to providing the youth of Central Florida unique performance opportunities.
