Thanks to Matthew W. Diroff on r.a.m.d for this review! The show last night was just a standstill due to the amount of rain that fell earlier in the day and the day before. The field didn't appear to be all that bad, though. As far as the show itself, Madison was easily the most entertaining; they should be, standing still. Having seen Phantom at Toledo, standing still did nothing to excite the crowd like when they marched that show. They didn't seem to get up for it. Cadets play more notes than probably even Madison at this point. Very difficult show and I need to see the visual package to get full impact of course. Guard looked incredible as usual and judging by the amount they marked time while playing, looks as though there won't be much dance this year. Colts impressed me much more than in Toledo and the music was much more exciting. Drumline needs to CLEAN worse than any other Div. 1 I've seen yet. As far as everyone else, I only caught some of Pioneer, and during their show I suddenly got the urge to go buy some Old Spice. If you've seen it, you know what I mean...... Matt Diroff PR 93
